Electric Fiësta was refined from the sessions in celebrated jazzcafé De Spieghel. Guitarist Marcel Smit is the axis around which a host of top musicians oscillate, featuring some of Groningen’s finest complemented by a wide range of special guests. They tear the wallpaper off and set fire to the curtains working through their own compositions, as well as visiting the genius art of the likes of Frank Zappa, Billy Cobham and Prince. No matter who penned the framework, it’s added to, reinterpreted with magical musical finesse and delivered dangerously.

Electric Fiësta is ontstaan bij de sessies in het beroemde jazzcafé De Spieghel. Met gitarist Marcel Smit als spil is hier een gezelschap topmusici aan het werk.  de fijnste muziekavonturiers van Groningen spelen in wisselende samenstelling, aangevuld met speciale gasten uit binnen- en buitenland, Eigen werk en covers. stukken van uiteenlopende genieën als Frank Zappa en Prince worden met veel gevoel voor muzikaliteit van het podium geslingerd.
